Overview

BluOS Controller is a browser extension that lets you control BluOS-compatible audio players on your local network. Your privacy is important to us, and this extension is designed to operate with minimal data usage.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

This extension does not use analytics, tracking, cookies, or any external services.

Network Communication

This extension communicates exclusively with BluOS devices on your local network (private IP ranges: 192.168.x.x, 10.x.x.x, 172.16-31.x.x). All communication stays within your local network and is never routed through any external server.

The only data stored locally is your device's IP address, saved in Chrome's local storage so you don't have to re-enter it each time. This data never leaves your browser.

Permissions

• Storage: Used to save your device IP address locally in the browser.
• Host permissions (optional): Requested at runtime to send HTTP requests to BluOS devices on your local network. When connecting to a specific device, only that device's address is requested. The broader network permission is only requested if you choose to scan for devices, and all communication stays within your local network.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services.
